I love the Rakuten affiliate program because not only can you earn cash back for purchases you make, but as a blogger, you will receive $25 for every referral. The Rakuten affiliate program pays out quarterly with a $5.01 minimum.
3. HostGator
HostGator provides user-friendly and affordable web hosting services.
For every qualifying customer that you send their way, you can earn anywhere from $50-$125 per signup. The more signups you send them per month, the higher your commission. For example, if you send them 1-5 signups per month, you will earn $50 per signup. If you send them 6-10 signups per month, you will earn $75 per signup, and so on.
Each month, you are paid via PayPal or check, and there is no minimum for payout.
4. Bluehost
Bluehost is also a web hosting provider. For every qualifying customer that you send their way, you can earn $65 per sign up. You can find the affiliate signup link at the bottom of the Bluehost homepage.
5. Erin Condren
Erin Condren offers personalized and customized planners, notebooks, journals, and stationery. As an Erin Condren affiliate, you’ll earn 10% commissions on all Erin Condren merchandise.
Additionally, the affiliate program has a 30 day tracking period, meaning you have a longer opportunity to make more money.
6. CJ Affiliate
CJ Affiliate is one of the largest affiliate networks around. If you can think of a company, there’s a good chance you’ll find their affiliate program on CJ Affiliate.
I’ve been using CJ Affiliate for almost a year, and while it is one of my favorite affiliate programs, it’s not as user-friendly as ShareASale. I definitely had to take some time to familiarize myself with their platform.
With CJ Affiliate, you can choose your minimum payout, with $50 being the absolute minimum.
7. Ultimate Bundles
Ultimate Bundles offers bundles for e-books, courses, and other resources at a highly discounted price (usually 90-97% off). Their bundle topics include healthy living, homemaking, meal planning, blogging, and more.
As an affiliate for Ultimate Bundles, you’ll earn 40% commission for every bundle that your readers purchase.
8. Amazon
Amazon is a hugely popular affiliate program for both new and seasoned bloggers. Amazon’s affiliate program is easy to join and use, allows you to choose from over one million products to advertise and will give you up to 10% commission on qualifying purchases.
While the commission is pretty small, the thing I like about the Amazon affiliate program is that if someone visits a product through your affiliate link and decides not to buy, BUT ends up purchasing something else instead, you can still earn a commission on the product they purchased. Pretty cool, right?
9. Creative Market
Creative Market is an online marketplace community that allows you to buy digital design products such as WordPress themes, vector graphics, photography, fonts, and more.
Creative Market offers a 10% referral commission for every new customer you bring to their site. Now again, I think 10% is a pretty low commission, however, with this affiliate program, you will earn 10% on every purchase that customer makes for an entire year. For me, that makes the Creative Market affiliate program worth joining.
10. Beautiful Dawn Designs
This is the affiliate program for our feminine WordPress themes. As a
Beautiful Dawn Designs affiliate, you’ll earn a 30% commission for every customer that you refer to our shop.
Our cookies are good for 60 days, and there is no minimum required for payout.
A great way to earn extra money with our affiliate program is by including our themes (and your affiliate link) in a blog post teaching others how to start their own blog.

Rakuten Marketing (formally known as LinkShare) has been voted as the number 1 affiliate marketing network. Rakuten Marketing has thousands of programs to choose from. Here are a few to get you started:
12. VigLink
VigLink is a very interesting and unique affiliate marketing network. VigLink works by converting your existing outgoing links into affiliate links. This means you don’t have to sign up for individual affiliate programs.
For example, if you write about a book you just read and provide a link to the book, VigLink will turn that link into an affiliate link. Now, whenever someone makes a purchase through that link, you’ll earn a commission.
13. Shopify
Shopify allows you to build e-commerce websites. Whenever you refer a customer to Shopify, you will earn the first two months of the customer’s paid subscription fee (200% bounty) – up to $598.
You can also earn 100% bounty on their enterprise plan which pays $2,000 for new Shopify Plus referrals.
14. ConvertKit
Converkit is a popular email newsletter provider. I use Converkit to collect subscribers for my email list.
As a ConvertKit affiliate, you’ll receive 30% monthly reoccurring commission for every account you send their way.
15. Skimlinks
Skimlinks is an online affiliate network that works similar to VigLinks in that Skimlinks converts your outbound links to products or services within their network into affiliate links.
With Skimlinks, you will receive 75 percent of the revenue split. Furthermore, you must earn at least $10 before you can receive a payout.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing was created by affiliate marketing expert, Michelle Schroeder-Gardner. I call her an expert because her blog earns over $50,000 a month in affiliate income alone.
